Homeless nomads

At last! It is official! The house closed and the money is in the bank. We are now official homeless nomads. It took eight months, but it is done. The elated sense of relief is fantastic. No more house payments, no more property or school tax, and nothing "back home" to worry about while we are travelling. If I have undesireable neighbors, I can be on my way in about an hour. I guess that makes us practical existentialist. Wherever we are is it.

To the vagabond lifestyle of the full timer. Lorraine and I have been at it just over 2 1/2 years and have no intention of turning back.

Why do we do this and why are we so happy about it? We are so looking forward to being out of our lovely, roomy home so that we can live in 380 sq. feet of space wherever we want to live. What's wrong with that picture? I think it's the simple life that is so appealing but I think we must be crazy!

Congratulations to all you crazy people out there. We hope to be one someday.

Congratulations.. it is a very freeing feeling. We have been at it for almost a year now and we keep refining what we do & what we keep. Took another box of stuff out of the monty today. Things we haven't used in a year. I really need to tackle the closets.

Stiles and Diana Congratulations!!!!! We have only been full timing for six months, but we still feel like we are on a permanent vacation. It is absolutely a beautiful life style.
