New adventure

I retired last Thursday, and we are now camp hosts at Cumberland Mtn. State Park in Crossville, TN. There until Sept. 10, then we get to do some traveling for the Fall. Have to wait until days off @ home to do internet stuff, since my Sprint service is weak there. Most improved service? JT

Sounds good. We have stayed occasionally at two private campgrounds there in Crossville, the Beanpot, and a nice one on a lake a bit down the road from Beanpot, the name of which I cannot remember.

Enjoy your retirement I know we do! On the Sprint thing, We use Verizon, IMHO it costs more but were usually 99% of the time have decent coverage for internet use for our laptops.

We've work camped for Fish and Wildlife over the years so frequently out in the boonies. We use Verizon and one of these with the optional larger antenna: https://www.amazon.com/Wilson-Electr...+phone+booster

Yes, my profile pick is St. Andrews in Panama City, one of our favorite campgrounds. We've got three trips planned down there in the next six months. Thanks for the cell tips, I'll check on those. I think this retirement thing might just work out!

Enjoy your retirement but don't set down you will rust. Cumberland is a pretty area.
