Air bags on RAM?
Any thoughts or experience with a Ram 3500 SRW needing airbags?

I installed Firestone air bags from day one. Helps keep the headlight beams down where they belong. Also dampens quite a bit of the road shock you get from some highway sections. Would do it again! Got the simple setup with the air lines running to the rear license plate area. Run 5 lbs with no trailer and 20 lbs with the trailer attached.

Our is a Ram 2500 with air suspension. I really like it.

It probably doesn't need air bags but I've gotten to the point that I'm convinced that all 250/2500 through 350/3500 pickups will benefit from them with a better controlled ride as well as leveling these trucks

The RAM dealer installed Firestone airbags on our 3500 SRW when we bought it. Also has the onboard air compressor for adjusting on the go. Works well and has made hauling heavy loads (we have a winery and often load the bed with a full ton of grapes) considerably smoother.

My thoughts are wait until you hookup your camper them decide. If you don’t need them save your money.
