Switch

Does any one know where I can get an identical switch to replace the one that controls the main kitchen light on the main control panel? It's a black switch for 12 volt lights.

You should be able to get them at Camping World or any RV parts place. Try here first, he's a member of the forum and a master at fixing everything: http://ozzrvparts.com/catalog/catalog.html

You could try Camping World or your local RV store. Perhaps an electrical supply house would have it. Take a picture with your cell phone or remove it an take it with you. Often you can find 12-volt parts at an auto parts store.

I have the same year and model rig. Here's what I think you are posting about:

If you are asking about the switch that controls the main kitchen 12v overheads it is marked as "Ceiling Light" in the picture. The outside dimensions of the switch are 1 1/4" high by 5/8" wide.

Have you confirmed you need a new switch?

Referring to the link provided by DQDick look on page 232 of the catalog and I think you will find the switch there. I think either part number 212597 (12625) or 212633 (13405) might be it but I hope others can confirm.

Ozz, what do you think, please?

Yes, the little rocker switch might even be found locally at Radio shack, or possibly an auto parts store. That would save on shipping if you got it close to your location. (Thanks.)

We switched all of ours out for higher quality ones with LED indicators. We did this with our last Montana as well.

I just changed out ours in the last month. I walked into a local RV dealer's parts store and he had them in stock. The only difference is the new one says "on" and "off" in white but otherwise is identical.

Our switch was a bit difficult to remove, but not too bad. Keystone apparently put a little dab of sealer on the back side to keep it tight on the plate. Once I dug out that sealer removal and replacement was a snap.
