Lynwood,
Sorry to hijack the thread but, I tried to email you twice in the last weeks with no success. We too could use a replacement end for our 2014 High Country. One of the cable ends is frayed slightly because the outer bracket was misaligned from the factory (since aligned correctly} and is waiting to separate at a bad time. We would be happy to pay any costs.
Thsnks, Bob

Lynwood,
I received the cable end in the mail today. Once again thank you so much for providing them for MOC members.
I am a bit confused on how to install it, is the threaded rod supposed to slide into the end piece that has the t, and the set screws on opposite sides?
I tried to insert the threaded rod into the T , but the hole is to small of a diameter for the rod. any extra details you can provide would be great. Thanks again Don

Don you have it all wrong. The cable goes in the T part and it fits on the far end of the cable. The 2 inch long part goes inside and the 1/4 threaded rod goes in the end of it.
To use the T part you will need to remove the bracket on the camper put the cable through the bracket and then in the 3/16 hole on the T part tighten the set screws on the cable and reassemble.

OK Thanks for the clarification I understand now. Do you think these would work as a permanent fix or just temporary?

DAR I don't know. I have no way to do a long term test but I can say they will hold tight enough to easily pull a slide in. The only thing that I see could go wrong is for the cable to go bad under the 10/32 set screws.

Is it too late to get one of these kits? I'm sure that it would be something that would be very handy to have. Thanks Michael
