Brakes
I have a 2010 295RKD, It is due for Brakes in the Spring, as they were at their Half Life last Bearing Pack 2 years ago, done my myself.
Took pictures of my brakes, Numbers on them were, 023-466-00 L/H
023-467-00 R/H
I have 7K Axles
I have a chance to buy a complete Brake set from a friend he has,
023-464-00 2 each.
023-465-00 2 each.
I looked on the Dexter Site, and my #'s are not shown, his are?
Would these work on my Trailer ?
Thx,
Barman54

Complete brake sets? Drums, shoes etc? If they fit, they should work

Barman,
My 2010 Monty had 6K axles. At the national rally I purchased new 7K brakes from the Dexter representative and they bolted right on. They were 12 x 2" brakes. The only difference I could find was that the 7K brakes had a slightly larger magnet. I believe that as long as the braked are 12x2", with five mounting holes, they should work. And the wires are NOT polarity sensitive.

According to the Dexter catalog, the K23-466-00 & K23-467-00 brake assemblies are for 6,000 lb axles. The K23-464-00 & K23-465-00 are the left and right hand assemblies for 7,000 lb axles. So, if you actually have 7,000 lb axles, you should be using the ones your friend has. This is the link to the catalog, and page 66 shows the the 6,000 lb brakes in the chart and page 71 has the 7,000 lb brakes, and these both are the self adjusting brakes. http://www.dexteraxle.com/docs/defau...y.pdf?sfvrsn=0

YES, they will fit. I installed the 464/465 units on my 2010 3150RL. They fit and work fine.

Looking at the catalog rohrmann mentions the only difference is the magnet. The shoe part numbers are the same.

Stop f-ing with the garbage electric brakes and install disc brakes and your brake issues will be OVER. Yes its not cheap, but it will be the best $$ you ever spent.

On the phone with them now after talking to them a few times in the past several weeks. My brakes are being ordered.
