Lincoln, Ne to Boise, Id

May be taking 5th wheel from Lincoln to Boise around the last week of June 2019.
Have a 2003 Diesel Silverado 2500 HD. New tranny in 2017, New injectors this fall.
2010 Montana 3455sa around 12,500 dry is my guess.
Concerned about mountain grades both uphill and down. Probably take I-80 to Salt Lake and I-84 to Boise. Pulled Montana from Myrtle Beach through Atlanta and Nashville in August with no problems but realize trip to Boise has a lot stepper mountains.
Anyone with experience or advice that would be helpful?
Thanks in advance.
Gary

As long as you stay on that route I'm sure you'll be fine. Those Interstate grades are generally pretty mild. Used to drive that route quite often and the climb up fron SLC going East is long but not difficult, going west it's a loooong downgrade so keep it in a lower gear to save your brakes.
