First let me point out that I am NOT challenging the Administrator on the demise of the avatars. I understand this is a privately owned web site, and what needs to happen happens for whatever reason. It's just comical to me that on the post saying they are gone for good the Administrator has an avatar!

Ha, I didn't mean to stir things up, I saw the pictures (Avitars)? were gone, but some folks had one and did not know the story. I am the person they wrote all those books about explaining things for Dummies.
I really don't care, but usually when they have one of those X's in a little box, that means something didn't load.
