When I purchased my unit (used) it had been sitting for over a year at the dealer. The inside was perfect. The outside, however was nasty. Slide toppers covered in leaves and stained (made them replace them all) and the side walls very dirty and black streaks every where. I told the dealer I wanted it cleaned up. When I got there to pick it up, it was not acceptable. They sent a guy out with some cleaner/wax (that they sold) to work on the front cap (the worst part) and it did wonders but they would not do any more and stated it would cost me $600 to have it professionally detailed. After I saw what it did to the front cap I decided I would do the rest. Moral of the story is that a bought that cleaner and did the rest of the unit with a DA polisher and it looks brand new to this day (3 years later). I should also mention that it is kept in a pole building when not in use.

The name of the product is Heavy duty exterior RV cleaner & wax with carnauba made by TR industries.

We took ours through a semi-truck wash/wax that we googled one day, and it looks like new again. Even the guys at Camping World noticed and commented on it. I have no idea what kind of wax they used but they just sprayed it on...3 guys standing on ladders. Both truck and RV done in 20 minutes for under $100.

Joe,

Attached are pictures of my camper after the decal removal. At first i didn't like all of the white, but my wife did and I got a lot of positive remarks on it.
Thinking back on the Tiger decal, I should have rounded the corners to give it a cameo effect, Lesson learned. If you do put a decal on the front, spraying some soapy water on first will allow you to position it and when it dries it will be firmly in place. Another lesson learned after I did it. It will also allow you to take the wrinkles out. The white area in the close up was full of peeling decals.

We are moving ahead with the decal removal and some replacements starting in January. I will let the pros do it. Amazon had some replacement decals for the mountain scene and the Montana name. I will post photos when complete with a few before photos. On our 2006 we are doing both sides since we replaced the front decal a few years ago.
