Back in the southland again

We made it to Kings Bay this afternoon, I seemed to have wrecked my lower back last week in Va Beach and it is really kicking my butt. As soon as we get settled in I will go to the base medical center and see whats what. This happened two years ago while fighting a fire in northern Wisconsin and I was laid up for 6 weeks. I sure hope this isn't as bad as that.. The weather here is way warmer here than in VB. The Big Sky is great, we did find a crack in the counter but that can be taken care of later. This is one of the things that I wasn't prepared for in a fulltiming mode. I thought the back problems were gone and didn't even consider what we would do in this situation. I will hit the local MTF and see what they have to say. I really don't want to spend 6 weeks laid up. But that's life I guess... Dave and Betsy

Dave,
So sorry to hear about the back. Been there done that sort of thing and I know it can be excruciating. Take it easy. As you know rest is the best medicine - also pain killers. Even if you THINK you are feeling better, go get it checked.

Luck to you.
