Well, it FINALLY HAPPENED!!

NO, not the tire blowing stuff, Thank goodness!!

But, someone finally double blinked the headlights at us. On I 90, we were west of Billings, headed east, they were running west. 3?? something mile marker. We were east of Bozeman, and maybe east of Livingston. They had a newer unit.

That is about all we caught, as we never expected a double flash! LOL

And, whomever it was, waved too! I waved back!

LOL, Champ49. Haven't you been reading her blog? She posts some interesting stuff all the time. You've gotta be pretty adventurous not only to experience them, but to take pictures and write it down, too, for everyone else to read!

I'm guessing Carol would have no problem flashing them back, especially double... She seems to be a good sport!

I do especially like that she was able to tell the first thing in my mind was "tires" when I saw the topic heading, but being in "sitting around the campfire" I kept an open mind. She's pretty wise, too.

We are guilty as charged! We were on our way to Glacier National Park and spent that night in my bride's home town of Bozeman. Drive safe!

I cannot explain about the double flashing posted here, but;

As a long time driver, trucks, cars, RV's, etc., when you see a double flash from on-coming vehicles it usually means that there is a police speed trap ahead of you. This has been a trucker's signal for as long as there has been trucks.

Rancher Will, it is something that a lot of MOCer's have been doing for years as well. (I would kindly direct you to the original post on this, but, sometimes our search function doesn't work the best, and again, tonight, I am tired and nope, cannot find the original, SIGHHH)

This really was not the correct forum to post this in, but, I was tired and, well, just plopped the post here! LOL

kylec2, really that was you?? Well, thanks for the first double blink! WHAHHOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Let us know how Glacier is, we skipped partly because the "sun" road is still under snow, they had 90 foot, not sure how much now. And, partly, because we kinda have to end THE Trip and get back to SE MI for some dr. appts (getting old does that to ya, grrrr) and the grandtwins are whining about gramma and grampa being gone for so long and me thinks even the boys (the 3 sons) are kinda anxious to see us. Hopefully another year - - - -

BTW, thanks Art-n-Marge for the shout out about the blog. Appreciate it!

For those that might want to read the blog, the URL is at the bottom of my sig line, on the first post in this thread. Thanks for visiting! There are also several other MOC bloggers, and they all do a fine fine job. I read a bunch of them!

Carol-- Kyle flashed at me while he was coming through Nebraska on I-80 Sunday too. One friendly guy!! See you on the 12th at CPRR! Will email you the directions when you tell me which way you would like to come into our Cornhusker State! Coming down south from Custer then hitting I-80 may be the best bet and also the most things to visit on your way across our State but I will email you with different options!
