Slide Floor Repair Finished, Update great news
We took our Montana in to get the slide floor replaced in the middle of Sept. and got it back last Friday. The replacement floor is great and a 1/4" thicker. We couldn't see any visible cracks, the Tech figures the inner layers were broken. The insurance company are balking about paying and if they don't I am to get a hold of the Montana District Sales Manager who I talked to at the Abbotsford, B.C., Canada RV show and he will see if he can get Montana to help on the Bill which is $3850. Our fingers are crossed.
Update!!! They put a new Adjuster on our claim after the other one was rude to Mary Ann and told her before the floor was stripped down he wouldn't pay. He Reviewed the claim and decided to honor the claim and is issuing a cheque. Our brokers trouble shooter has kept on them to pay and it finally worked.

Interesting that there were no visible cracks. Good to hear it is fixed.

What insurance company is trying to avoid their responsibility?

Is that sort of repair supposedly covered under that policy? What is the reason they say they won't pay??
Many times in cases like that, a simple letter from your atty solves the problem. Good luck with the new floor.

It is suppose to full replacement but they are saying it is structural and the tech says that the inner part of the plywood broke.

That's good news that they will pay. Sometimes it's so obvious when they're wrong.
