There are no ex-Marines, only live ones and dead ones.
Met a customer at my front counter today that had a hat (cover) that said 'Chosin Few'
I asked my clerks if they had ever seen that hat before or knew what it meant. He looked at me with a smile starting from underneath his wrinkled face and said "Son, do you know what it means?"
When I answered back the Chosin Reservoir, Korea, we talked at length about the Marine Corps History (as told by the Marines) of that battle and infamous attack in a new direction, and the actual details. You never know who you run into, or the storied past of that individual.
Semper Fi, Devildogs!

I read about the "Chosin Few" in a recent issue of American Rifleman. Good stuff. Talked about the weapons used and the men who manned them. Thanks Marines ... OohRah!
