WOW!!!! 66 CHECKOUTS
We went shopping at Fry's Electronics yesterday looking for a new Garmin gps and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how many checkout lanes they had.66 of them. They were all open and very busy and we got a new Nuvi650 for $299. Now if I can just figure out how to work the darned thing.

Congratulations on your purchase. That is a real good price for that unit. Read the manual. Get online and dial up tech support. Garmin is really helpful.

If your unit does not have the "maps2008", Garmin will send you a free update.

I think it must be. When I registered it I checked for updates and they said the unit was up to date. I'll double check just to be sure
