new IS and Disk Brakes

When we were at the Fall Rally, we decided to take advantage of the "rally pricing" from MORryde for their Independent Suspension and Disk Brakes.
Called and scheduled for early February and found out the offered and addition 10% discount for scheduling "off season"... ( YEAH!!!)

Arrived Monday, the 4th in the evening at MORryde.

Work started Tuesday @ 6AM.
After taking measurements and backing into bay the work really started. In no time the springs and axles were gone and the new, made to order assemblies arrived.
By the end of the shift we had the 2 new hub assemblies mounted.

Wednesday was the installation of the Hydrastar actuator in the front storage area and all the hydraulic lines, alignment of the wheels, and bleeding of the lines.

While we were there, they mounted and balanced our new Sailun tires.

Now we are riding smoother and much safer.

When we did that with our old rig the wife thought I was just getting fancy toys. When we traded for the new rig the wife insisted on IS and disk brakes being added to the new one so it really does make a difference.

I really want that done to ours. Question though. Are the axles the 8k or 7k variety??

Golfmedik,
We went with the 8K thinking the extra bulk in the suspension would give us a little extra feeling of security and that we would never overload it.
Tho, just getting rid of those leaf springs and drum brakes is a huge relief!

If you don't mind saying, can you provide the pricing, including the Rally discount?

Carried Away,

The 2018 Rally deal for tandem axles: I.S., 8k, Kodiak disk brakes, 2 piece bearings... $6525.
The 7K same setup was $6025.
plus tax....

Wayne,
I know you are looking forward to getting yours. You will love it.
Tho, camp MORryde leaves a bit to be desired.

Didn't like the freight trains going by right behind you? Actually we went to a hotel for the 2nd night.

Which hotel did you stay at? We are scheduled for mid-April and I've realized it will be very difficult to get the wife and dogs up and out by 6 a.m. None of us are early risers, but I guess I'll have to be there with the truck at 6 a.m. for measurements and moving trailer into bay.
