rear jacks

My 3730 Monty's rear jacks occasionally drag or hit when going over/through a dip. I see that there are holes to adjust the jacks. I asked a service department and they said it's just something I have to live with and to be careful. Is this true or can I adjust the height of them by removing the mounting bolts and raising them up? Also, will I have to do any adjustment to my auto leveling system?

Thanks for any advice/suggestions.

there are folks that have raised them. if you do you should have blocks or boards to make up the difference.

You should not have to change your level settings if you do that, but as Jeff says carry blocks or you can get out of stroke errors trying to level when the jacks extend too far.

I saw this on another forum, have a floor jack to support it if you decide to do it.

I raised mine sitting in the road the day I brought it home. Couldn’t get in my drive due to slope and turning angle.
The cylinders are not heavy at all, just make sure not to pinch a hydraulic hose.
Box end off set wrench helps and I had my cordless impact to speed things along.
I do carry blocks to try and keep cylinder travel to a minimum, no recalibration need.
I raised all 4 , front is fine.
