2019 mattress looks worn out

We have slept in our 2019 MHC with the king size bed approximately 35 nights since purchased in January. Our king size mattress looks like its worn out. Two large divots where we sleep. We are not large people (155 lbs and 125 lbs) Anyone else experienced this problem?

I sent pictures to our dealer today to see what they say?

It doesn't surprise me. They don't put real quality mattresses in these rigs to save cost and weight. I put in a 4" memory foam topper on mine and it helps a great deal.

We put in a Parklane RV king, and sold that POS to someone selling their trailer and keeping the new mattress they had purchased.

Last 2 5ers had a king. Put a topper on the one for a few trips. Wife complained it was tight walking around and changing bedding was tough. We went and bought a queen size mattress and a jig saw. I cut the platform to fit. We had the dealer keep the king and cut the platform on our new Montie.

That flimsey pad supplied by Keystone was swapped with the brand new Simmons Beautirest that was in our trade. Some 'lucky'() buyer got a brand new, plastic wrapped mattress(?) in a 2006 Titanium.

Take a wander to one of the big, non-brand name dedicated forums and you will find that is a bone of contention even in the mid 6 figure motor homes

Suspect part of the "cheapening process". Our first two units, mattresses lasted thru our ownership. Last two units, mattresses were replaced or augmented with foam toppers within a couple of months.

We let the dealer keep the mattress and transfered the one in our trade both times.

Ours is the same. Feels like we're sleeping in a ditch. Going out to buy a new mattress this weekend and replace the king size with a queen size one. We don't need the king size and the smaller queen will provide more room around the bed.

We never slept on the mattress in the 13 3402 we knew better from the 06 3400. We did not want it but they would only take 50.00 off the sale price. We took it and donated it t o a community care organization. We installed a sleep number bed in the 3402.

Same for us. Cut the king bed stand down to a queen and used a good mattress from our previous Cougar. More walk around room plus made a spot for the CPAP and SoClean. gave the king to the dealer.

We bought a $299 mattress on Amazon and we love it. It's the Inofia queen from Amazon. Great warranty and return policy.

We too have a king that is to big for the room. We have a memory foam mattress that really helps. Would like to go to a queen size, but when did a mattress get so freaking expensive?

We had to remove the king mattress. Cut frame down to queen!! Lot more room and able to make bed without having to take mattress off frame to get sheets on!!!!

Mattress

We had the same problem with our first mattress and when we returned it to the dealer we were given a new one but were told the same problem would happen as numerous people have had the same problem and Keystone gives two mattresses but after the second one you are on your own
We added a 4 inch topper from Walmart on top of our king mattress and although we have to slide the mattress side to side to make the bed it beats the previous sore back on poor quality mattresses
The question is why provide two poor mattress rather than one quality one

you may get a new mattress under warranty but I don't really know anyone who uses the 'trailer mattress.'

Just buy a mattress you want--for long term. throw the other mattress out

We have always thought the king was a pain because it reduced the amount of space around the bed and we really didn't need it. We used it 'as is' for about 6 months of full timing and then got a foam topper. Used that for another 6 months of full timing and then 4 years of part-timing. We recently got a new good-quality mattress at Camping World. We have found many items are high priced at CW but some are very competitive, like mattresses. Purchasing in the store results in sales tax and a delivery charge, but ON-LINE gets you free delivery and no tax.
PS: The other items priced competitively at CW are folding bikes and outdoor furniture.

We had a King in the trailer we just sold with a nice mattress we bought. Ordered the 3561 with a queen. I noticed that the one on the lot, a 2020 king had what looked like a nice memory foam in it, any good?
