Okay! Everything is working -

Seems everything is working as it should. Now comes the loading part, Passing the extra frozen & fresh foods to the kids, cleaning the house, turning off the water, turning down the heat, taking kitty to the vet for her shots and some downers so she can ride in the truck with us part of the day. and we will be on the road until sometime in May! I can't believe we are finally doing it!!!!! I'm so excited - I feel like a kid again

Safe travel to you Sherry & Bob! I can hear the excitement in your post. Where are you all headed? Don't forget to take your time and enjoy the travel time before reaching the destination. We will keep you in our prayers for safe and problem free travel.

Have a safe and happy winter. This is our 4th winter on the road since the DW retired and loving every minute of it. Just relax and enjoy your travels as there is just so much to see and take part in.

Been there, done those, (except kitty, we have a dog). Still feel like a kid again. Enjoy! ...and travel safe, maybe our paths will cross in Texas.

We, too, are enjoying the winter and spring traveling. If you are like us, you will wonder why we didn't start it earlier in life. Enjoy your travels and may they be safe.

Enjoy each and every minute of your time in your RV. Our cat, Alex, rides in a crate in the back seat the entire time we are driving. When he first started traveling he would meow. He now just goes to sleep in the carrier. We bought a harness for him with a name tag and our cell phone numbers on it. We also have a litter box in the floor board of the truck for long hauls. He has yet to use the box, but there always might be a first time that he won't hold it.

Thanks you'all. We are headed to Dallas first to visit family and then on south to the RGV somewhere. I bought the harness and a tag with our cell phone on it.

Happines is mode of travel, not a destination. You've got it covered! Bob

Enjoy your adventure, Sherry and Bob! Just remember to not try to cover too much territory or see too much in too short a time. In other words, take the time to absorb your surroundings and enjoy yourselves!
