Just found right solar post cap lights to finish job. Total material just under $150.00.

Just make sure that you don't make an immediate left turn after you walk out the door, that first step would be a doozy!

I had ones I could take apart and travel with for our 3400RL. This new unit was a little higher plus I just didn't want to travel with the added weight. I did make them so I can "quick release" the step section from 4'x4' platform to make it easier to carry into my storage trailer. Needed these a little bigger for the DW's upcoming knee replacement surgery.

Word of caution never lower the front jacks with the door open. Ask me how I know?

@Joe. Do you have gas struts on your door? Don't see a door latch in the photos.

Very nice, I would love to have them, just to heavy for my back.

The 2014's have the "stiff hinge" to keep the door open if that is what you are talking about. So far we are pretty happy with it.

Joe.....stiff hinge? Can you send me a photo of it and do you think that it can be put on a traditional door? Thanks

I am not sure a photo will actually show you anything. It looks almost like a regular hinge to me. If the doors on a 2013 and 2014 are the exact same these hinges may be interchangeable. There is also a "button" the middle hinge pushes against that turns on the interior lights when you open the door. Two pics e-mailed Joe.

I have a 24' enclosed trailer that stays in a secure parking lot next to our "home" RV park. I built the steps/porch so that they unbolt from each other. Each piece can then be loaded into the storage trailer while we are gone. When traveling we have to use the regular metal fold out steps.
