Kipor Initial Test Forced Today

I have now justified the purchase of the Kipor (thanks DSprik again) since we woke up to a neighborhood-wide power outage this morning. The difficult part was the generator was still in the box. An hour later had the wheels on it and a quick run to the gas station for gas and oil and we were in business with the use of a heavy grade extension cord running inside. We had went to the grocery store yesterday and purchased food for a family that we adopted for Christmas through our church, so the Kipor saved the day and some of our money. The other benefit was that DW could still brew her morning coffee (actually I think this was more important than the fridge!!). Start up was flawless, generator is still purring away, food is safe, and DW has had her caffeine fix, PHEWWWWW!

Bingo, I guess that if you have to find out how good your Kipor is, this was a little overboard, don't you think!
Seriously, we are glad you had the gen to fall back on. We have used ours for the same reason and and was glad we had it!
It's amazing how many different items you can run off the gen, espicially the coffee maker!!!!

Bingo...#1 mission in our lives is DW...never forget! Glad that Kipor got the coffee brew'd as I too understand the simple mathematical equation, DW + Coffee = Happy DH
