slide problems solved

I see that several of my fellow montana owners are having a few problems conserning there slides. To make a long story short.... I purchased a new 2003 3573 montana in late 2004. after several trips to the dealer I discovered that they were incompetent. Called the hydrolic pump manufacturer and found out that they wree wiring the breakers incorrectly.
1. Make sure that your slides are lubed.

2. Many 5'ver's require a up grade in there breaker system. Ours
did, but the dealer wired it incorectly. If they are trying
to upgrade the brakers, they must wire them in parrelel, not in
series.........otherwise you will not see any difference.

3.I finally called the pump manuf. and got the correct wiring
fix.

4. It was stated that this was a common problem with 2003.


I have been to back to the dealer several times since 10/04 and hope this helps someone else.

Thanks, Juggernaught. Helpful post. We also had slide breaker problems with our 2003 at first but, fortunately, our dealer was a good one who fixed it first try after calling Keystone.
