"Camping on Halloween" - Photos

We went camping this past weekend during Halloween and took our grand-daughter with us. The campground was full with the exception of seeing any tents. Everyone decorated their sites and the winner received 5 free nights of camping. There were a lot of kids Trick-or-Treating. It was warm and beautiful on Friday then it turned cold with some rain. It was a very enjoyable weekend overall.

Enjoy!

Now THAT'S a great Halloween location. Where was this?

The weather looks cool, there are millions of leaves on the ground (that we don't have to rake up) and the sky is grey and gloomy. Looks like the Fall season. Perfect Halloween weather.

Where we were in Southern California, there were no trees, it was 90 degrees and the sky was clear and boring. Wearing a costume in those conditions is hot and sweaty.

Thanks for the pictures.

This location was at Greenbo Lake State Resort Park,
just off of RTE. 1 south of Greenup, KY.

Kentucky is one of the nine U.S. states we have not been too (not necessarily with the rig). It is on our list. We have been to Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, all around it, but not quite into KY.

Well if you ever make a trip to the state of KY or near by our area be sure and give us a call. Here is the thread for the Mid-west rally; however, it’s in Hillsville, VA. Perhaps you could visit KY on your way to the rally. On another note; I would love to see some westerners visit the rally as well.
