Battery Kill Switch

The battery was dead even though the battery kill switch was on? How? Also, when we bring it home and put in driveway to cool fridge the night before a trip, do we need to level the RV? 2015 model 3720.

To cool the fridge, best to be level, should be in the off position in storage, not on

Removing ground cable on the battery is only true method of having no drain. There will still be the normal loss due to internal chem changes. John

Look at your battery and see if any thing is run directly from the battery bypassing the isolation switch. If not there you may have to trace the wiring to see what is hooked directly before the cables get to the isolation switch.

There are some parasitic drains on the battery that are not cut off with the battery kill switch; for example is the gas monitor and the level up system. The only way to kill all drain is to disconnect the battery. I put wing nuts on the cables and disconnect one cable at all Times when rig is not being used.
