AZ State Parks
If you plan on camping at some state parks in Arizona, the state is closing 13 state parks in a phased sequence starting Feb 22. You can read all about it at www.azstateparks.com. Don't forget they have also had to close some rest stop....usually every other one. Hope they are able to reopen soon.

Thats to bad, we know that most of the rest areas are closed. Arizona economy is really bad. Hope things improve soon.

The state parks along the Colorado River are staying open. They seem to get more use. Arizona is close to California for being in a financial crisis and will probably be that way for a while.
