Cat Genie in my 3820FK
Hey folks, I'm getting ready to put our Cat Genie and use the washing machine hookups and drain riser for the waste. I believe the washing machine will empty into the Gray Water tank. What are the consequences of allowing that waste into the gray water tanks? Are the integral sprayers in the gray water and black water tanks?

Someone will pipe in, but I thought the washer drained straight out the outlet and not into a tank.

What are you washing the puts out other than gray water? Best way to find out is to dump water down the washer dump pipe.

The washer drain will go to several different places depending on your model and the what the Old Worlds Craftsman felt like doing that day. I have seen it go to the grey tank (most common), straight to the outlet, or to the black tank (rare and the worst).
There will be a sticker on the wall where the washing machine goes. DO NOT believe it. Pour water down the drain and determine for your self the destination.
This no flush system for the grey tanks. There is, of course, one for the black tank(s).
Rinsed cat poop isn't my favorite thing to run to a grey tank, but it probably isn't too big a deal if you fill and dump it frequently

Don't think it's something I would do. We have three large cats and I still empty the litterbox the old fashioned way. Wouldn't want to be trying to figure out how to get accumulated solids out of the gray tank without a flush. You could try one of those addon backflush systems and use it with the grey tank.

I don't think I would be to concerned if emptying into the Black Tank, but with the Gray and having an approx 1 1/2 discharge line and no internal flusher, I would be concerned about a backup.
We're with Dick and scoop the litter daily.

Just to clarify. the galley tank has a 2" drain and the grey shower tank (the usual place the washer goes) is 3"

Isn't kitty litter famous for its clumping ability?
Do you really want to put something in your tanks that clumps?
Allergic to cats so I will never have this issue.

We have the 3820FK with a washer and dryer. Our washer empties into the rear gray tank.

Our 3402rl drains straight out to the sewer. I had the discharge outlet closed thinking it would drain to the gray tank as previous unit but found out the hard way. I would follow the water when pouring water down drain to see what route it takes. Open your outside drain and hopefully it will go straight out instead of into any tank.
