shower
We have been in our new Montana 3150 for a little over a month and my wife pointed out rust dripping down from the screws located on the lip below the shower door. I have since replaced them with stainless steel ones. Also, the water in the shower still seems to drain only when we "swish" it around with our feet. Is the little cup under the drain causing this not allowing for a vortex created draining?

If there was rust on the screws, I'd pull the stainless ones back out, put some silicone sealant in the hole and screw the stainless back in. It should prevent the water from seeping down around the threads.
Good luck.

Pull the drain plug out and the water should drain much better.

soap suds will slow down the water that is draining, a little swishing always helps, and as Jim said pull the plug...

As for the draining, I have found it makes a difference in how level I am. If I am off a little in the wrong direction, the water pools to one side of the drain.

We've got the 3150 as well and have the same problem with our shower drain. So far no rust problems to speak of. I keep a sponge and squeegee in the shower and after I squeegee, I take the sponge and soak up the remaining water around the drain (about 1/2 cup). The shape of the shower pan causes the problem, but is a relatively small problem in my mind.
