Mor/Ryde RE (rubber equalizer) System

Does anyone have the Mor/Ryde RE system installed? I'm thinking about getting it, but wouls like to hear some feedback from those that have it. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

That is standard on the 06 Montana's. We have it on our 06 3400. We noticed the difference when we crossed the first set of RR tracks. We also have the Mor-Ryde pin box and we experience a very smooth ride.

We don't have the RE, but you might also take a look at the TrailAir Equaflex system. It is a "drop in" rubber mounted replacement for the OEM equalizer. It can be purchased with greaseable bronze bushings, and makes a nice upgrage without any cutting and welding. Cost is similar or even less.

We added the Mor-Ryde pin box ourselves as it was not a option when we ordered in Feb of 06. I note that it is now a option from Montana.

Thanks everyone for your inputs. I ended up buying the Mor/Ryde pin box and the RE system. I'm looking to get it delivered next week.

Thanks Again!

You will notice a improved ride. Don't get excited when you look in your mirror for the first time and see the Montana floating around back there.

Oopps..I lied...It is a option on the Big Sky..However..If it is a option on the big Sky they must have a deal with Mor-Ryde so why not a option on the Montana..It might be a good idea to call Team Montana and see what they say..You just might be able to have it added????

We purchased a 3400RL which has the mor/ryde supension. I think shocks are need to controll the bounce, reminds me of a vehicle with
worn-out shocks.

We Took advice from Dale [MIMF] And went with the Trail Air I have been very happy with the way it works. After people where having problems with their frames craking I thought this would be the cure. If you want to see just how much stress this takes off the truck and 5 Wheel just take a ride with someone who has one, you will not believe it.

The Mor-Ryde RE suspension system on your Montana is designed to function without shocks. Shocks will degrade the performance of the RE system. Your "bounce "May be caused by other conditions, like not enough pin weight. For confirmation contact Mor-Ryde.

Technically - the Montana system is an LRE version, which is shockless. The RE system still has shock towers.

Our Cambridge came standard with the Mor/Ryde suspension and the pin box. We also have the Trailer Saver Air ride 5th wheel and the 5th wheel rides like its on air. The Mor/Ryde suspension just rolls over the bumps and with our system we can leave the coffee pot and can opener on the counters and they never move. The only thing we have to secure is our Glider rocker. I highly recomend the Mor/Ryde systems. Good Luck with your choice, GBY.......

P.S. Also the Mor/Ryde Disk brake system is a must have option if your ordering new. We have the Disk Brake system and I think its the best upgrade we have made to the Cambridge.........
