I agree about the scare lights. When we were ont he factory tour, I recommended that they look into replacing the scare lights with scene lights like they use on ambulances. Those have reflectors that focus the light at a 45 degree down angle. The effect would be less light going straight out and more useable light closer to the unit.
I'm not sure what the cost would be, but they are probably more expensive then the old style floodlights they currently use.

Well, I spent a good bit of my day at our Monty upgrading the water pump but didn't have time to play with the light switches.

Here is a place that has the blinking type of LED that I was thinking of. Since these are not 12V LED's, they need a couple of resistors to divide the voltage down to a level that they can deal with. Also need something to mount them in.

I'll see what I can come up with. With the different colors that are available, the different lights could be color coded.
