drawer for desk in 3400 for PC keyboard
can anyone tell me if they have put a keyboard drawer under the desk in the 3400RL? Have looked at it and it is on an angle so where to find one that fits is the question! Thanks to all

Yes we have. Wee bought it at Office Max but I think all office supply stores carry them. It cost $69 I think. It swivels and tilts and has a swing out mouse tray. We mounted the keyboard drawer to a piece of wood just a little bigger than the metal plate of the keyboard drawer. Then we screwed the wood up under the desk keeping the front flush with the angle of the desk. When the drawer is pulled out, you can swivel it to whatever angle you want. The keyboard and mouse travel in place. Right now Monty is in front of the house so we can pour more cement to extend its parking spot at the side of the house (was originally made for a smaller fifth wheel) so I can't go take a picture as the slides are in. We should be done in a couple of weeks and I can go take some pictures if you'd like. I can also get the brand and maybe model number for you then.
Happy trails..................

Sue, why are you pouring more cement? I thought you were going to fulltime?

It is going to be a while before we go full time. We wanted Monty on cement instead of rock and wanted it level. We were worried about pulling the slides out with it unlevel and the rock we have there is pretty big and couldn't get the levelers to lay flat. Plus we are adding some cement in the front of the house to give it some curb appeal for when we put it up for sale. We have to put Monty back about 10 ft. further than our previous fifth wheel so the bedroom slide will clear the garage. Plus less grass means less water which we have to do here in So. Calif. and water is also expensive here.
Happy trails.................(I miss you guys)

What a sweet note, Sue. Thanks so much. We miss you, too. That rally sure did its best to create new friendships with a common interest. Sounds like a great plan. We did s similar thing last year when we extended our driveway and added a 30 amp connection. Sure makes it nice.
Sorry to be so off topic, rogersuemegan. Here's an idea a little closer to your question. We have a 3380 which has a "desk" across the entry area from the door. It is just a shelf really. We're thinking that we will remove that shelf if we can move the vent for the furnace and put a 30 ince 2 or three drawer chest in that space. We don't use it for a desk as we have "stuff" stored under it. And we miss having drawer space. Other things that we've looked at are computer tables with a place for the laptop.
