3582RL

Louise and I are looking at a 2016 3582RL. Does any one have this model and what are your likes/dislikes?

We have a 2015 3582RL (made prior to the slight layout change), and love the unit! The space and storage have been great. The only problem we have had was that the lower panels by the tires are nor reinforced very much (which I pointed out to the dealer prior to purchase) and on our first major trip started to come lose from the wind viberation, so I reinforced both and haven't had any issues sine. If you want pictures, I can send them. But the layout and storage space is fantastic! We are looking forward to snowbird this winter!

That problem is not just with the 3582', had the same problem with our 3910FB and also had to reinforce and replace screws with nuts and bolts. Easy to fix.

Hi Dick, We traded our 2955 in and got the 3582 but it is the 2013 model. They changed the tv area so the tv is stationary. I think they changed the sink configurations in the bedroom. Other than that we love ours very much. The cabinet in the bathroom above the sink is a bit low, makes for brushing your teeth crazy. Go for it you'll like it.

Put the deposit down today and will pick it up next week. I would also like to see your reinforcement. One thing I was not happy with was the placement of the sewer hose storage tube. We had the same thing in our older Cedar Creek and I put a new one in the basement storage that I could access and left the spare hose underneath.

Best wishes Dick on your new 3582. You will like the island and openness and movement it will allow. We love our BS 3582 and have had good luck with it overall. Not quite sure what you meant by the sewer hose on your new rig?

Safe and enjoyable travels for you both. Dennis and Judy.

Our LR TV is stationary with some pull-out and sideway adjustments. I think earlier models the TV went up and down and were hidden. The extra sink was a problem and we modified it to allow better "brushing of your teeth" so maybe they fixed that on newer models. Some folks like the open and some like the separate room look of their models. We had a 3400 and loved it and our 3582, so different is a great layout as well.

I will try to attach a picture of the reinforcement I did to our 3583RL. but first, I removes the sheet metal screws holding on the trim and replaced with screws, nuts, washers and lock washers. The metal I used is Alum.angle, I got at HD. I notched it so I could bend the pcs. and for clearance to overlap. I used self taping screws to attach to the slideout frame. Also, I had to notch the rubber flap to provide clearance when when the slide out comes inboard.

I can't seem to figure out how to attach a picture . any help out there?

We have the 3582RL and love the room. The level up system and the whisper air. I live in it for at least 7 months a year so I like the exterior room.
