MOVE THE TABLE
WE HAVE A 2008 MONTANA 3075 AND WE WERE THINKING ABOUT TURNING THE KITCHEN TABLE A QUARTER OF A TURN SO THAT WE CAN GET TO THE REFRIGERATOR WITHOUT RUNNING THE CURBSIDE SLIDE OUT. HAS ANYONE DONE THIS TO THEIR COACH??? DID YOU SCREW THE TABLE BACK DOWN OR WILL IT STAY UPRIGHT WITHOUT SCREWS?
WHAT ABOUT THE REAR RECLINERS HAS ANY ONE FOUND A BETTER WAY TO SECURE THE CHAIRS? HATE THE STRAPS. HAVE USED THE BED PILLOWS IN THE LAST MONTANA.

Hi Laura,
We turned the table, we did not screw it down, and it is doing just fine and dandy.
We use the straps, but modified them for ease in securing.
We are from K.C., hope you are somewhere South now.
Take care, Ozz

Nailbender actually made his tilt up out of the way. You might PM him (assuming the 2008 has the same type of pedestal).
Ozz had some good add ons for moving the chairs around. We tossed the straps (couplings already broken) and removed the floor brackets. We just tie the chairs back to back with a small tie down strap from wallmart.

Laura, how long have you had your 2008? I have to ask since the new models are coming with the new table that you pull down an a handle and the table rotates and then slides towards the window. Saw this at the rally in Goshen and on a new Montana at the rv show this past weekend. Hope you have the new one, but if you don't, just follow Ozz instructions, can't go wrong there!
Oh, did I say, welcome to the MOC!

Steve - I knew I saw that somewhere!! I hesitated to mention it when I saw Laura already had a 2008. Figured maybe I was thinking of SOB (heaven forbid).
It's actually possible she already has the swivel table?? and doesn't know it?? Took me a while to learn our table had realeases that let it slide out of the way.

As to the straps, if you have an Academy Sports Store, they have a very large variety of tie down straps and all reasonably priced.

Brad you have a good memory. I did make our table tilt, but it was a little wobbly, so I changed it to a swivel top. It was still wobbly, and I put it back as it originally was. I ended up taking the screws out of the base and we just turn the table 1/4 turn when traveling. I strap two of the chairs to the table and everything stays put when traveling.

Sailer, I found a campsite with a view at the local landfill. No electric hook up there, but plenty of places to dump the black tank.
