Rear dash cam

I need a constant 12V DC source to power a dash cam pointing backwards. I just want it on 24/7 for traffic and security.

I do not and will not use it as a back-up camera or to monitor as I drive, just record and recover from Wi-Fi and the cloud if needed. I have a camera, just need power.

Any ideas on closest source for my needs?

You could tie into a taillight.

Taillights are on only when traveling. Right now we're stationary full timers.

I'm going to catch whoever is eating my squash in the garden!

You could tap into the 12V at the 7 Pin.

Buy a trail cam and put it out. Easy to hide and they use AA batteries.

There are 12V lights under the rear cabinet. Tap into the hot side that power supply, run the wire out the back of the cabinet through the rear cap.
