I was told by the rep at the Tampa show it depends on whether you mount them on the valance or wall and whether you have side valances.
You want to have the dark next to the glass if you do not have side valences or curtains so there is no crack. If you have the sides you turn them around so the light side is close to window.
Just what I was told.

My trailer (went with the Gold) was about $2490, all installed. Not cheap but worth the money to us. We were debating whether to spend the money on installing a level-up system or the shades and went with the shades because we would get much more use out of them.

HI the DW and I installed blinds.com faux wood blinds. Did all the windows in the front room and we luv the convenience they provide. The rear one take a little extra work to get it up, since it is so long but with a little practice works great. We couldn't be happier with them. They also look so much better than the day n night shades.
