Jack, I think that's very wise counsel and hope everyone follows it.

We had planned to arrive on 1/22, just before the incident, and leave 1/29. Unfortunately, for personal reasons we had to cancel our visit to Q.

We hope to be there in the future although I cannot say for sure whether that's next year or the year after. Hopefully we'll be able to have some kind of get together at Quartzsite.

I for one do not believe that forming a formal club with elected officials, by-laws and dues is going to fix that. We were at Quartzsite last year, this year, and will be here again next year.

Personally, I do not want more attention drawn to our group by folks writing, e-mailing or phoning the BLM to try and gain special permissions or exceptions for our group. The Rangers have made their presence known this year. Please, just let this die and move on and learn from it.

Structure brings politics into any organization and I think most would agree that our lives are overwhelmed with bureaucrats now. Let's keep it fun and informal although I do like the decal on the back of my 3750FL!
