Another Newby

Scott and Heide Wargo... New 2019 Montana High Country 373RD... Hollywood Florida based. Going through setup and learning process of our rig now. Towing with a 2016 Ford F350 Dually. Scott is a military retiree that also had a very successful career in corporate America. Heide who is native German will retire from her school teacher job at the end of this school year. We are very excited to be hitting the road with three trips in the planning stages... any input on these destinations is greatly appreciated. First is Ashville, NC and the Blue Ridge Parkway region in June. Second, we have two nieces joining us for a few weeks to Washington DC and the NYC areas in July and third is the MOC Rally in Elkhart (already registered)... yeah!

I am also really interested with connecting with other late model 373RD owners to share information as we navigate the learning curve.

Looking forward to meeting as many Montana owners as possible.

Welcome to the forum! May your new rig bring you many years of wonderful memories. You might also want to consider attending the smaller regional rallies.

I can't recollect the website right now but it concerns overhead height. Do a search on the internet and you will find a couple. Another good tip is to get the Rand McNally's Motor Carriers Road Atlas that will give you heights and roads not to travel on. Blue Ridge area can be tricky. If a sign says not trucks, that means you.

Also check out "On the road again" under "Have MOC WILL TRAVEL".

Hi. We have the 372rd. I believe the only difference is you have the residential fridge vs our propane version. We picked it up April 1 and spent 3 nights so far. We start full timing April 29. Happy to compare rig results, feel free to send me an email. I installed progressive hard wired protector and halo camera so far. Installing splendide washer/dryer combo this week.

Thanks for the note Ken. We would love to compare. We do not intend to Full Time but will spend significant time on the road with it. Already have three trips scheduled including the Elkhart Rally. Going through the setup process is an eye opener... Storage bins to keep stuff from rolling around, surge protectors, TPM systems, tires....lots to consider. Only real modification we have made is to apply a rigid spray foam to back of metal brackets holding fenders on to fill the gaps and add support. Did that at the recommendation of gentleman who walked me through the rig. I have also ordered the TST 507 TPM kit with flow through sensors.... $221 at Camping World. I also found great storage bins at Dollar Tree far cheaper than IKEA.

I absolutely love the rear slide out storage.... Already installed a fishing rod holder in one of the side bays.

372RD in Ontario, Canada

Hi! Hope you’re loving your 373!
We got our 372 (RV fridge) in February and did a 6 week trip of about 5000 miles in the spring, South Carolina, Florida and Louisiana from Ontario, Canada.
Heading south again in November for another 6 weeks.
Have fun and safe travels!!
