Water Heater relay location

If the tank is not leaking, I don’t think you need to replace the WH. I think there is an electrical issue in the 120 vac section of it. Look at figures 10 and 11 on page 11 of the manual (attached). Figure 10 shows the 12 vdc operation of the relay coil. Figure 11 shows the 120 vac power thru the relay contacts (and the rest of the 120 vac circuit). That relay should be in a junction box on the side of the water heater.

There is a leak from bottom of the tank,not the inlets and outlet water flow.Its a 2019,but my Father in law is on electric the whole time and didn't replace anodes or drain the tak regularly.So therefore issue is here.

My father in law wished it would have gone up in smoke...RV is not worth the money involved..J
