Montana remote control- opens slides, etc.

Today I bought a new battery for the remote control, so I went to reprogram the unit from the controller in the battery compartment. After pushing the program button on the controller I do not get a flashing red light. Just nothing happens, so I’m wondering if anyone else had the same problem. Appreciate your thoughts. We have a 2010 Montana 3150RL.

I have changed the batteries in the remote numerous times. I have never had to reprogram afterwards. It just worked.

The only time you have to reprogram is if you get a replacement remote.

Which control do you have? If it's the LCI 206436, as we have, I waited 24 hours after installing a new battery -- and it worked -- for one day then it died. New ones are 120 bucks from RVUpgrades and have to be programmed, something I still need to finish.

I've replaced that battery a couple times previously and it always worked afterwards, just not this time.

Also, if it uses a CR2 battery - the first one I bought (Duracell) was less then the required 3VDC (2.75VDC). These are not a real high demand battery so you may have also gotten a dud. The second one (Energizer)is 3.2VDC
