My rims are 110 psi rims.
I didn't think my rims on my 3000RK were 110 psi rims until I took a rim off yesterday to change out my spare for one of my other damaged tires. Turned it over and lo-and -behold it was stamped 3750# and 110 psi. I guess now I can get my Sailun tires put on. May wait until next fall after one more major trip. Tires will be 7yrs old next March. I know what you think about the age, but tires have no cracking and look in good shape. Two tires are scuffed from hitting pavement difference in height from repaving in Washington. Discount Tire looked at tires and said they were fine. Filed a complaint with Washington DOT and was refused any damage done to tires.

It sounds like you have already had tire trouble - why take a major trip with your old tires? Sailuns are cheaper than dirt and yet good quality.

Sorry, but I wouldn't drive across town on those current tires!

I made the mistake of trying to get 6 years out of perfect looking G614's and paid the price. Five years and gone from now on.

For a little over 600.00 you can have 4 new Sailuns so why push your luck. It's what you don't see more than what you do see that can get you in trouble. Tires can look great and still fall a part. Check with Simple Tire. I would wait till they have a 10 percent off sale if possible but still a good price without. An 10% off sale would be enough savings to pay for the mounting and balancing.

I agree with all this BUT I would go ahead and replace all 5 tires.

We replaced our G614's at 5 years old. They still had legal thread and looked good. We did not go with the Sailuns....Our choice.
