Sewer Boom

While disconnecting this morning (in the dark), I was connecting the sewer boom buckle and it came off in my hand! If the wasn't bad enough, I lost balance as the buckle came loose and fell backward onto my bleach bottle I use to spray down the sewer fittings before stowing them...and broke the plactic bottle top...yep, bleach all over. Count a whole set of ruined clothes! The good news is that I was able to get the buckle reattached and fixed (I hope) at the next site. No fixing the clothes, but maybe they are right in style???? Anyway, you might want to careful with that sewer boom buckle, it can bite!

Michael,
I had the buckle come off on mine before I got it home from picking the Monty up in Elkhart. I probably did what you done to fix it. I crimped those little tangs at the bottom of the buckle pivot a little bit. Haven't had any problems since March. I'm glad I didn't have the bleach near me.

That was my fix too...not rocket science, but I was wondering for a moment how I was going to drive down the road with the boom flapping in the wind! There is always duct tape to fall back on...
