Winter camping

I have a 2022 Montana 3231 CK. Does anyone know if this is set up for winter camping? This trailer is new to me and we are expecting Temps in the 20s.
Thank you

Jim,

Your rig can certainly handle some 20 deg weather. What type of camping are you considering? Short or long periods in a single place? Campground with power or boondocking?

For short stays make sure your propane is topped off, if you are staying in a full hookup campground consider adding a small electric heater, get a heated hose unless the temps rarely go below freezing. For a short stay with temps just dropping below freezing at night you can often get by with doing nothing special other than running the furnace and turning your tank heaters on.

For long stays you might consider setting up a larger propane tank and skirting your rig.

This is just scratching the surface of actions you can take depending on how cold and how long you plan to stay. You will find several threads here with advice for different conditions.

Next to your entry door there should be a placard that proclaims "Four-Season Living." I suppose that is subject to interpretation, but our experience in moderate winter conditions has met expectations. Heat pump, gas furnace, fireplace and space heaters are the arrows in your quiver.

Montana - Montana's and Montana High Countries have been rated to zero degrees for years and years now. BUT.... in order for that to work, the furnace must be running. And the furnace does not stop freezing water lines under the slide outs exposed, (like a line that runs to the refrigerator ice maker), nor the end-caps of you tank discharge ports, or your sewer hoses.
