Topsail Hill

Will be in Santa Rosa Beach, FL at Topsail Hill March 22 through 26. Got to get the good out of this park before Bingo wears it out.

Pangs of jealousy are coursing through my body! Enjoy your days there (as if one could not!). That is our family's favorite park of all that we have stayed in through our relatively few years of travel.

You have no idea how much wear and tear Bingo has placed on TopSail, enjoy your stay and have some breakfast over at the Donut Hole and say I wish Indy was here to enjoy this with me.

The pangs of jealousy are coursing through my body, for sure! Wife and I just got back from Destin about 10 days ago. There is already talk amoungst her and her sister about going down in August or September. Now, hopefully by then, wife will be retired. It sounds like there will be several other family members going down, too. That means the beach house will be full. So, Gail I might have to take the 5th wheel and pull into Top Sail.

I'll have to check this one out. Is this the one that has a 6 month waiting list to get in?

Depends on the time of year, summer and holidays are difficult, I believe they accept reservations a year in advance, we would reserve Thanksgiving in January and never had a problem. Reservations are handled by Reserveamerica.com, you will just have to check it out.

Dale, we will be there again this year July and August working as volunteers so if you make it in August look us up. Southern Thunder keep checking ReserveAmerica every day. I work at the check in station and they do have a lot of cancellations. People book 11 months out then their plans change. The CG holds about 10 sites open for emergencies (Example - electric post, water or sewer failure on a reserved site) on a daily basis the Manager has an option to rent some of these to walk-ups which I have seen him do on very few occasions. They do like to be prepared to accomodate reserved sites. Last year when I was there they had a Class A break down and they allowed them to extend for a couple of days to get it fixed in the meantime they had to relocate those who had the site reserved. I think a wreaker finally towed the MH somewhere to get fixed. The xmission had locked up.

Phill, make sure you keep Glen in line. If he misbehaves, tell him you are going to sike me on him. That will make his knees bang together in fear!!

We will be there June 9th thru 22nd. My son and his family will be camped right beside us. We will be doing some serious fishing off the beach and out in the Gulf. Fresh caught seafood sure is good. You can also get some great shrimp to cook at your campsite at Shrimpers. They also have fresh fish, frozen deviled crabs, seafood gumbo to go and other good things. We wiill be in site #146 again.
