Installed Fireplace

We finally found a fireplace and my DH installed it. I think it fit perfect. We are going to find some spindles to put on each side..thought it would dress it up a bit.Now I cant wait till Spring! lol

Bob and Kathy,
Wonder job on the install of your fireplace. I hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours as I do mine.

Looks great! We love ours, a fireplace was one of my must haves when we were looking at Montey's. We use it year round.

Bob and Kathy - We put one in our 2980RL in the same spot and we love it. Just can't run it at the same time as the toaster in the morning as it trips the breaker.

Jim and Dagmar, It does seem to pull some ..we noticed it when we went to put it on just the flame and no heat. So we will keep that in mind not to forget!

We visited with Jim and Dagmar when they were here in Hemet several days ago and saw their beautiful fireplace as well as other great improvements they've done. The next day Bob and Kathy posted their picture with the same installation. Isn't it funny how great minds work alike! Enjoy - we love ours and use it all the time.
Happy trails..................

Nice Job! You will really enjoy the extra heat and "feel good" look.
We are now enjoying ours in our home as I removed it from the Monte for the winter.

At first I did not want the fireplace as I wanted more storage room. Glad Bob won on that battle. We use ours all the time and love it. It is sure great in the morning when it is chilly and we don't have to use propane.

OK...you got my attention. Now, where did you get the fireplace? How much did it cost? How much was installation? And all the rest of the questions that can be asked.

By the way...hope you had a Happy New Year. Mine was great.

Nicely done! though at first “glance” the fireplace might appear superfluous, it is truly a handy addition to have.

Hi Kathy,
The info on the fireplace is great, just need to know the Brand Name of the insert to see if there is a dealer up here. Have been looking online and can't find much that fits. Also what price was the insert??
Thanks,Dawn

Since we plan to full time I wanted a fireplace to look more like a home. Ours came with the coach and not only looks great but, also helps heat up our front living room as well. I feel a must have.

JH Sechelt, It is by Chimney Free...I believe they also have a website
http://www.chimneyfree.com/

Northstar: you can make these look just like a home fireplace..we just havent dressed ours up yet!LOL We thought when we have the time we would do some wood trim work to have that home look.
