Noneck; I have the early '03, with the 6.0. I put the Banks system on 63k miles ago, with out any issues. My issues are while it is stock configuration. When running stock, I have the throttle to the floor on most hills and I really have to work the engine hard while towing. With the Banks system, I gain 5 mpg, use much less throttle, the EGT's are lower and my truck just tows so much easier. The Ford dealers mechanic had his laptop hooked up while towing, and we never violated any of the engines parameters.
In simple terms, I took the truck in for the update and it ran fine. I left with a truck that has a turbo "bark" and doesn't run fine (stock condition).
The Ford designed 6.7 sure liiks like a sweet engine, but one I can't afford.... yet!

I agree a tuner just makes a nicer truck. People who have never had a tuner think EGT through the roof the turbo melting and running off the back of the engine in great glowing globs, pistons through the block the transmission in shambles. Trouble is it just ain't true. You can tear anything up even a stock truck. I liked my stock 6L more than my stock 6.4.

Aaron,
Interesting, I don't get into mine when climbing hills I tend to lay-off and climb at slower speeds keeping my boost around 20 psi, figure I'm "camping" why be in a hurry. So your early 03 must be second half of year as 1st half was the 7.3 with 4R100 while 2nd half which we both have is the 6.0 with 5R110.
Agree does make one unhappy that they reprogram and can't restore to prior level... You have been driving at this rev for a long time? When they do this the PCM has to relearn your driving habits but not clear to me how the Banks sitting on top of that code impacts the relearn.

Thank you all for your comments. Your experience is valuable to all that read our blog. My cousin and her husband have a 2011 F350 with the 6.7. They let me tow our Monty with their truck. It did a great job. Now I have the 6.7 fever! I'm even considering a dually, after reading another blog on this site.... $$$ ;o)
