Folk art welded caches for the Cachers

I finished welding the Jack Adapters for the guys, and decided to make 2 welded Caches, one I call 'The Balancing act' a little guy balancing on a chair which is on two balanced balls, which is on the end of an arrow. I don't think he will fall, as I welded him in place He is already placed

The second is my first night cache, I call him 'Night Owl', I went out today to a local county park and places reflective tape along the walkway, Red tape until the turn off the trail on a small trail, I then put white reflective tape on the trees until the cache spot, then Red, White, Red bands on a small tree where the cache will be hid on the back side of a fallen tree.
This is way out in the country by my home.
Sue and I went out tonight and checked the trail markers, they all looked great, we walked right past a herd of deer, 'city deer' we really got close.
I haven't placed the owl yet.

That is really fun stuff! Nice job and GREAT yard art!

I used to live in Oak Grove, actually in farm country between 50 and 70. Are you east of the City as well?

Joyce loves the owl, she'd already seen the balancing man of course.

I see this stuff you make and I sometimes wonder where my shop went. The one thing I do miss as a fulltimer is no shop tp play in. Which is what I did for the better part of 40 yrs.

Oh well the sacrifices one must make as a fulltimer!! :-)

Job well done Jim, keep up the good work.

Wow, those are both great! I'd love to get into geocaching, but the two times we tried it we found nothing. Maybe the third time will be a charm?
