Its a triple axle so thats 24,480lbs so thats plenty of spare capacity.

Its my understanding the sailuns ST's are a commercial trailer tire where the endurance is a consumer trailer tire. I would think you would not be able to compare an E rated tire to a G rated tire. Wouldn't this be an apples to apples situation and I think for the price difference and great reviews i would stick with the sailuns over the GY tires at any load rating. IMO

On my 2006 Monty that has a loaded weight of 12,500 lbs, I have run the GY for about 3 years and they have done great!

Put Goodyear Endurance ST 235 - 80R 16's "E" on my 2017 Montana 310 RE High Country spring 2018 and now have over 20 K miles on them. With 80 PSI cold pressure they are rated to carry 3,420 lbs -single and 3,000 lbs.-dual use. I've run speeds up to 75 mph out west on hot days for hours on end. Although I am pleased with their performance and that they show virtually no wear, I would not be comfortable using the Endurance on a RV with more than about 14, 500 lbs. GVRW and realize I'm at the upper limit of the "E" range Goodyear Endurance.

if you subtract your tongue weight you are still good for the tires. you probably have only 11000-12000lbs on your trailer tires. I have the exact same camper but I put the 235/85/16 endurance tires for a little more weight capacity. on the CAT scales I only have 9900lbs on my trl axles. but im just a weekend camper plus a couple weeks trip somewhere, so I don't carry the whole house with me

I like gambling when the odds are very heavily in my favor. I don’t see how I could possibly win putting the GY tires on my camper when the Sailun tires have a proven track record and are less expensive.

I’m at the tire shop right now. Are Heartland a viable alternative to the Sailun? They are saying they can’t get Sailun.
Guess I could try and order myself. Caught a nail on one of my 637s.

I'd put the Sailun spare on and order a new one or find a tire shop that can get what I want and believe is the best.

Sailun was the first to build and put their all steel 16" tire on the market. With their success all the other brands started building them. Heartland - a Discount Tire brand - is one of them. Not long ago Carlisle got on the band wagon with their all steel CSL-16 line-up of the two popular sizes. They can be found at just about any big box retailer.

The exact reason when I replaced the Bridgestone R250's I went with the Sailun. I don't need the G range tire, but I could not beat the price.

Had my GY Endurance tires for about 18 months and 5000 miles. Zero issues, no noticeable wear, and they were cheaper than Sailuns; $149 ea at Discount Tire. I checked them out before they were mounted; extremely stiff sidewalls, and a very heavy construction. In fact, on the discount tire web page, you can compare shipping weights of the various tires.
If someone had a bad experience with a given brand, it’s hard to ever convince them otherwise (I’m the same way, that’s why I would never own a Ford, but that’s another story) My previous trailer had Goodyear Marathons and they finally died of old age.
