Vermont Campgrounds

We are seeking suggestions for a Vermont Campground that has sites that are on the larger size (elbow room) and generally wooded. Water, electric and sewer would be nice. If it is near a pond/lake even better. Let us know what your favorite VT campgrounds are. Thanks for your input.

Lake Champagne in Randolph Center would be a good choice. Although the sites aren't particularly wooded, they're large and overlook a small pond. The campground is located in the geographic center of the state, meaning not too far from any attractions. Texas Falls, Montpelier, Stowe and Waterbury (Ben&Jerry's) are easy to drive to. It's a quiet, well-maintained (CLEAN) campground run by a very friendly couple. Full hook-ups are available.
