Wiring tips for running video cables

I am always thinking about how to make better connections in wiring. I like soldered connections with shrink wrap.
Sooo, I took this a step further and started shrink wrapping my video connections. I find a same size shrink wrap tubing, then spread it with long nose needle nose pliers so it fits over the connectors snugly, then heat the wrap plastic, and it gets tighter than a fat mans pants! You could throw it in a bucket of water, it wouldn't leak, no oxygen gets in, no corrosion.
OH, I strongly recommend the Heavy Duty video connectors that Tim sells, for the hook up at trailer-tow vehicle points. I have bent two of those little pins. No fun re-stringing the cable when that happens. Again, Dennis; Mudchief led the way on this idea.

Ozz,

Great idea!! Those connections won't be giving you any problems down the road.
