King Pin Stabilizers

Forgot my tripod on a trip last year and noticed a huge difference. Wouldn't be without it - cheapest way to remove most of the shake. I use it in conjunction with roto chocks and the rig barely moves. BUT (important point) - I don't have any kind of leveling system, so you may not need one or see much benefit. Great place to hang our name sign too!

Not from what I know. The Mor/ryde pin box is meant to "move" to keep the ride smooth. If you put a king pin stabilizer under it, it will still move some because that is what it is meant to do.
We gave up on the Bi-pod because it didn't work for us being fulltimers and even an extra set of arm jacks at the very rear helped but we still have too much movement.
Adding our stabilizers 8 years ago was the key to "mama being happy". In 2009 we had Big Foot Leveling system put on and for us, we still needed stabilizers to eliminate movement.
Another bonus for us is that with the permanently installed stabilizers Dutch doesn't put anything up, take down or find a place to store that Bi or Tri pod. It's what works for us. Hugs, Di

I have one if you come to San Antonio--it is yours. As a retired engineer, I finally reviewed how it might help. Basically using the tripod, the single point connection between the kingpin and the top the tripod is unstable under virtually all conditions. The base of the tripod with the 3 legs is stable but the single point connection is the weakness in the design. I did not look at this condition until after I bought mine--I could have saved a few bucks with a simple evaluation of the mechanical design!

We have one and it sure makes a difference especially with the clothes washer spinning which is in the bedroom of our RK3000.

We have a BAL Tripod and it does make a big difference in vibration with the second bedroom AC is running and also the Splendide wash and dry cycles. We know because it was bad without it and much better after we bought it.
