Ernesto....An Update......

This AM I posted in another thread that we would be spending Labor Day right here in Clearwater

This morning Tropical Storm Ernesto's projected track kept it out in the Gulf of Mexico. The current projection has it just off the Clearwater shore at 2 PM Wednesday. Even for a Tropical Storm, that is much to close for me. I am now planing on pulling out of here no later than early Tuesday Morning.
***************************************
On Edit
As of this morning Ernie's projected track is more towards the East coast of Florida and away from us. The projected tracks for the past few days have continued to move more easterly each day and there is a good possibility it could be down graded after passing over Cuba.
Although we are still getting ready to pull out Tuesday AM the forecasts this evening and tomorrow morning could have us staying put after all.

Not to worry, I am no fool. We are watching the storms movement constantly and if need be I can be out of here in a matter of minutes. The only thing left to do is the electric and water. If need be I can leave them and the CG manager will pick them up and hold them until our return in October.

BTW-Thanks for all the well wishes. We really do appreciate them.
**********************************

Don't wait on the massive traffic jam.....make the move before it gets too bad. We were watching it from here as it was first projected for the upper Texas coast. Too bad Florida is going to take another hit. Wish that hurricanes did not have to be creatures of reality.

I with everyone here,

Wishing you the best and my feeble words of wisdom:

RUN NOW!! don't wait any longer than it takes to pack er up and move her out, beat the traffic and the possible shortages of fuel!

Let us know where ya end up.

Best wishes to all those in hurricane lands.

No fuel problem. Will top off the TV in the morning and I also have an additional 10 gallons in 2- 5 gallon jugs in the back. That should get me into Georgia or Alabama. Not to worry I got it well in hand, I hope.

Good luck on your travels. On today's news, it doesn't look good for Florida. It will come over Miami and all of Florida.
Humbling experience no doubt.

I hope traffic isn't too difficult for you to make the move. Like everyone else here is saying. You have an advantage of taking your home with you and getting out of harms way. Be safe and follow your first instinct.

Wishing you the best.
