Cheap diesel
If you are going through Tuscaloosa Al in the next few days on I-20 there was diesel fuel there today for 2.41 and 2.44 at McFarland Blvd exit # 73 and a few blocks north on McFarland Blvd., Maybe 1/2 mile and a big station on the left and one on the right.

Good price but I am always wary of where I get my diesel. PS, here is North Carolina, 2.89 down from 3.09 last week.

It’s been $2.69 at Murphy’s Express here in Granite Falls for at least 2 months with a small blip 4th of July weekend. And $2.67 at Sheetz in Hickory NC ($2.64 with their rewards card) right now.

I topped off my truck yesterday along I-80 just west of Omaha at a QT Station for $2.459. This is exceptional since most of Omaha is ranging $2.799 to $2.889. If you're traveling I-80 East or West bound take the Hwy 370 exit which is just on the West side of Omaha! I thinking it is coming up Labor Day and the stations need to drop their prices so they can jack them up again for Labor Day Travelers. I'll keep everyone informed coming from the West to the Fall Rally so you can top off on your way through and see you in Goshen!

Just west of StLouis on I44 there was a station regular unleaded 2.529. Diesel 2.519.

Filled yesterday for $2.679 in Lake Mills, WI along I-94 between Madison and Milwaukee. Best price around here for a long time.

Filled up yesterday in Hardin, Montana at a local station for $2.75 while Loves across I-90 was $2.90.

Prices have been changing a lot around here in the past couple of months. Briefly (like 2-3 days) about 5-6 weeks ago, diesel was at or below the price of regular gas by about $0.05. Not because diesel ($2.69) had dropped, but because gas had risen. Very shortly afterward, gas took a drop and suddenly diesel (still $2.69) was $0.50 higher than regular gas ($2.19). Yesterday I noticed a local Shell station had regular gas at $2.39 and diesel at $2.49. Go figure.

Just returned from a trip from OR to ND. Saw diesel from $2.859 in Glasgow, MT to $3.099 in Minot, ND. My Good Sam Flying J card saved me 8 cents/gallon in Minot so I only paid $3.019. When the price of diesel is too low, I always check to see if it is biodiesel. Don't want any of that stuff if it can be avoided.
